It shall be unlawful to disturb, destroy, damage, adjust, molest, meddle, or otherwise interfere with any portion of the City sewage collection and treatment system or its appurtenances, located on either public or private property. Should any damage result, either intentionally or unintentionally, from handling prohibited discharges or otherwise tampering with or plugging said sewer lines, the violator shall pay for all costs incurred in connection with the repairs of said system and/or for any damages that may result from the tampering with prohibited discharges or plugging of said sewer system. It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit any substance which may tend to obstruct the flow or damage said sewer in any sewer opening. (Ord. 655, 9-27-1994)
