   A.   Certification Required; Exception: All trucks used for the transportation of Class 1 flammable liquids in bulk quantity exceeding one hundred (100) gallons shall be inspected by the Fire Chief, and unless certified by him as to their compliance with the provisions of this Chapter, they shall not be operated on the streets of the City; provided, that this certification shall not be required for trucks bearing the license or approval of the State Highway Department; or the license and approval of the Interstate Commerce Commission; or to trucks transporting Class 1 flammable liquids in drums, cans or other containers of less than sixty (60) gallons' individual capacity.

   C.   Parking: Trucks containing Class 1 flammable liquids may be parked in open parking lots or on private property, but they shall not be parked or garaged in buildings other than those specifically approved for such storage by the Fire Chief. (Ord. 319, 7-13-1953)
