It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain and operate in the city any electrical equipment or appliance of whatsoever nature which causes interference with radio reception or to operate any such appliance or equipment after the same is known to cause radio interference or to refuse permission to the chief of police or his agent to make inspection of any appliance or equipment to determine if said appliance or equipment interferes with radio reception or to repair or remove said appliance or equipment when directed to do so when same is shown to cause radio interference.
