6-1-14: GIVING ASSISTANCE TO POLICE OFFICERS:

It shall be unlawful for any otherwise capable citizen eighteen (18) years age or older to refuse or neglect to render assistance to any police officer when called upon for such assistance or aid in the suppression of riot or other unlawful assemblage or in the arrest of any person who has committed an offense.
