Special meetings may be called by the mayor or by any three (3) members of the council. When the mayor or council members desire to call special meetings, he or they shall give written notice to the clerk, stating the time and object of the special meeting and it shall be the duty of the clerk to notify all members of the council. The call and object, as well as the disposition thereof, shall be entered upon the journal by the clerk. (Ord. 270, 8-12-1949)
