The police department is given the authority and is instructed to watch and observe the conduct of businesses holding such permits and operating under this chapter. Upon discovering a violation of the provisions of this chapter, the police department may take appropriate action to ensure that the business complies with this chapter or to ensure that action is taken to revoke the permit.
