8-3-7: LOCAL ALARMS:

Local alarms are those alarms that activate audibly or visibly on the premises of the owner, partner or lease. Local alarms may be in addition to an alarm system connected to a monitoring system. Local alarms with any externally audible alert shall have an automatic cutoff after fifteen (15) minutes of sounding and shall not make a sound similar to that of civil defense warning systems.
