8-1-9: REPORTS OF THE DEPARTMENT:
   It shall be the duty of the Police Department to forward at once to the President and Board of Trustees a written report of each serious felony and each suspected serious felony committed within the Village, and from time to time a report of progress thereon.
   The Chief of Police shall once each month submit a report in writing to the President and Board of Trustees on the status of the police force, the number of arrests made, the number of traffic violation tickets issued, the number of traffic accidents, the number of requests for police service and investigations made and the dispositions thereof, and any suggestions deemed advisable for the improvement of the police force, its discipline and administration. The attendance records of the Chief of Police, Sergeants and patrol officers shall be made available to the President and Board of Trustees upon request.
