No license issued under the provisions hereof shall extend beyond December 31 following the issuance thereof unless the same shall be renewed upon the filing of an application for the renewal thereof and the approval of such renewal in the manner provided in this Section. Applications for the renewal of licenses shall be filed with the Village President's office on or before November 15 of the year preceding the expiration thereof. Such application for renewal shall be made under oath and shall be upon an application blank prepared and furnished by the Village. Each application for renewal shall be treated and considered in the same manner as hereinabove provided for original applications for license. Licensees seeking renewal must obtain the renewal of their orland park business license before their liquor license will be renewed. If no complete application for renewal is received on or before December 31, a late fee of five hundred dollars ($500) shall be charged and be payable at the time of application. If no complete application for renewal is received on or before January 31 of the year following the expiration of said license, the license will be considered delinquent and the licensee must reapply. No license shall be renewed unless and until the licensee has paid all other outstanding fines and fees due to the Village.
The Local Liquor Commissioner shall investigate each member, partner, officer, director, persons holding directly, beneficially or through any form or indirect or concealed ownership or control, more than five percent (5%) of the stock or ownership interest, or managers of establishments licensed under this Chapter, every three (3) years. The licensee shall be required to pay to the Village, as and for the investigation, the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), due with its license renewal.
