A certain document entitled “International Fire Code 2018", 1st printing August 2017, published by International Code Council Inc., 4051 West Flossmoor Road, Country Club Hills, Illinois, 60478-5795 be and hereby is adopted as the “Fire Code for the Village of Orland Park,” for the control of buildings and structures as provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said “ICC International Fire Code 2018" are adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Code with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes prescribed in this Chapter.
A copy of the rules and regulations of the “ICC International Fire Code 2018" printed in book form was on file in the office of the Village Clerk for more than thirty (30) days prior to the adoption of this Code, and has been and is available for inspection. Reference in this Chapter to “this Code” is a reference to the “ICC International Fire Code 2018" and such reference includes that document and any amendments, or supplements thereto. References in this Code to “the building code” shall mean the Village's Building Code as set forth in Chapter 1 of this Title 5. (Am. Ord. 5830, 8-21-23)
