The Village Fire Safety Inspector shall be hired by the Village Manager. The Village Fire Safety Inspector shall be chosen solely on the basis of his qualifications with special reference to his actual experience in, or his knowledge of, fire safety codes and regulations in respect to the duties of his employment hereinafter set forth.
The Village Fire Safety Inspector may hold another position of employment within the Village.
