4-5-3-1: MATERIALS:
   The house connections shall be of cast iron soil pipe (ASTM Specification A74-42) or vitrified clay sewer pipe with precast joints (ASTM Specification C13-44T). Joints shall be made gas-tight and waterproof. If installed in filled or unstable ground, the house connection shall be of cast iron soil pipe.
