Pursuant to the provisions of section 5-9-5, the Village, or its designee, shall establish a registry cataloging each registrable property within the Village, containing the information required by this chapter. Any owner or mortgagee of registrable property, otherwise subject to registration on the effective date of this chapter, shall register the real property with the Village Registry within six months of the effective date of this code chapter or within 30 days of notification by the Village of the registration requirements of this chapter.
