   1.   Members shall serve for one (1) year terms, which shall begin on the first Monday in June and expire on the first Monday in June of the following year. The chairman shall immediately file notification of nonattendance with the Village Clerk for placement on the agenda of the Board of Trustees, and the Board shall, after notice to the member, by appropriate action, consider whether to terminate the member's appointment. If the decision of the Board is to terminate the appointment, the vacancy thereby created shall be filled as soon as reasonably practical.
