The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago ("MWRD") Sewage and Waste Control Ordinance ("SWCO"), effective November 18, 2010, as the same may be amended from time to time, is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference by the Village, as authority for administration and enforcement of the industrial waste pretreatment program within areas of the Village that are subject to the agreement for sewerage services between the MWRD and the Village and the amendments thereto.
The requirements of the SWCO are applicable to all industrial waste discharges within the service areas of the Village in addition to all local ordinances relating to industrial waste discharges to the Village's sewerage system. Where provisions of the SWCO are in conflict with the provisions of any local ordinances, the more stringent provisions will apply.
