§ 34.46  NOMINATING CANDIDATES FOR TOWN OFFICE.
   (A)   Major party candidates for a town office of the town shall be nominated through the method of a primary election.
   (B)   The nomination of major party candidates for a town office for the town through the method of political town convention shall be abolished.
   (C)   The County Election Board shall conduct the primary election for nomination of major party candidates for a town office for the town.
   (D)   All state statutes governing primary elections for towns shall apply to the nomination of major party candidates for town offices for the town.
   (E)   The town shall not change the method of nominating major party candidates for its town offices more than one time in any 12-year period.
   (F)   The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall file a copy of this section in the office of the County Circuit Court Clerk.
