(A) Upon receipt of said petition and fees, the Clerk-Treasurer shall submit copies of the same to the Town Plan Commission and the Economic Development Commission for their review and comment and shall schedule the hearing of the Town Council by the statute for action thereon and submit the original of said petition to said Council.
(B) Whenever the proposed use or reuse requires the additional designation of an area as an economic development target area before being eligible for tax abatement, the Economic Development Commission shall deem the petition as a request for such status, and shall require the petitioner to provide such additional information as may be required to make its determination and shall proceed as required by statute for the processing of such requests.
