(A) All nonconforming street graphics must be removed, changed, or altered to conform to the provisions of this chapter according to the following schedule:

$100.01 to $500 | 3 months |
$500.01 to $1,000 | 8 months |
$1,000.01 to $3,000 | 12 months |
$3,000.01 to $6,000 | 24 months |
More than $6,000 | 36 months |
(B) A street graphic is or becomes nonconforming if is not in conformance with the provisions of this chapter and the Appendix, Table of Basic and Auxiliary Design Elements on either of the following dates:
(1) The date of original enactment; or
(2) Any date on which this chapter or the Appendix, Table of Basic and Auxiliary Design Elements is amended.
(C) The amortization period prescribed in this section shall begin to run on the date on which the street graphic becomes nonconforming.
