§ 150.183 CRAWL SPACES.
   (A)   All crawl spaces will be conducted with a minimum height of 36 inches between the top of the slab and the bottom of all beams or joist.
   (B)   All crawl spaces shall have a interior access panel a minimum of 24 inches by 24 inches. A larger panel may be required if permanently mounted appliances are located within the crawl space.
   (C)   Every crawl space shall be equipped with at least one outlet (GFI protected) and light fixture. The control for the light fixture shall be located within 12 inches of the access panel.
   (D)   All crawl spaces shall be constructed with a minimum slab thickness of two inches.
   (E)   Where the crawl space is the lowest level of the structure, the slab shall be pitch to eliminate the accumulation of standing water and shall run into a sump pit. The sump shall discharge to the exterior, above grade and within ten feet of the foundation.
   (F)   Where the crawl space is not the lowest level. The slab shall either be pitched to a sump pit as described in division (E) above or to a floor drain that is connected to the perimeter drain tile of the lower level.
