In the event that the course of conduct agreed to by the Chief of Police and the owners and occupants of the property to which a notice has been directed has not been implemented within 30 days of the date of said notice to voluntarily abate the criminal public nuisance in question, the Village Attorney shall initiate legal proceedings to abate the criminal public nuisance, and to seek the penalties and remedies provided in this chapter.
