For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SOLICITOR. Transient merchants or transient vendors or any person soliciting orders for the sale of any articles or things in the village to be delivered in the future; or advertising for or soliciting orders, donations, gifts, or customers for any association or business not residing in the village.
