§ 112.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   AMUSEMENT DEVICE. Includes pinball machines, bowling, or any game played with any number of balls, spheres, or images electronically or mechanically operated upon a table, board, surface, or wall with holes, pockets, cups, or electrical activity devices, electrical impulse and cathode games, and other similar games and devices. The intent of this definition is to include games such as Pac Man, Galaxy, Space Invaders, Blackjack, and similarly reaction time devices but excluding video gaming terminals.
   JUKE BOX. Any music vending machine, contrivance, or device which, upon the insertion of a coin, slug, token, plate, disc, or key into any slot, crevice, or other opening or by the payment of any price, operates or may be operated for the emission of songs, music, or similar amusement.
   POOL TABLE. A rectangular cloth-covered table with raised cushion edges in which a long tapering cue is used to hit small hard balls against one another or the side cushions of the table or into pockets, including billiard tables, pocket billiard tables as well as pool tables.
   VIDEO GAMING TERMINAL. Any electronic video game machine that, upon insertion of cash, is available to play or simulate the play of a video game, including but not limited to video poker, line up, and blackjack, as authorized by the Illinois Gaming Board utilizing a video display and microprocessors in which the player may receive free games or credits that can be redeemed for cash. The term does not include a machine that directly dispenses coins, cash, or tokens or is for amusement purposes only.
