(A) (1) Each contractor or subcontractor listed on the following schedule shall meet the following requirements before a building permit (where they are indicated as doing work) is issued, or before beginning any phase of construction. Applications for such registrations shall be provided for by the village.
(2) Contractors that require registration: Acoustical, paving, carpenter, communications, concrete, demolition, drywall and plastering, electrical, excavating, fencing, fire and burglar alarm, floor finishing, garage door, glazing, heating and air conditioning, insulation, landscape, mason, painting, plumbing, resilient floor, roofing, sheet metal, sewer, sidewalk or curb siding, sign, sprinkler, structural steel, swimming pool, tuckpointing, wall tile, water, water proofing.
(B) Each contractor listed shall submit a license and permit bond or a surety bond, guaranteeing the completion of the work as well as compliance with codes, in the amount of $10,000 which shall be valid for at least the term of the registration or one year whichever is longer.
(C) Electrical contractors shall be required to submit a photostat copy of a valid registration from another municipality located within the State of Illinois. The provisions and restrictions allowed and required by this registration shall also apply as a condition of approval.
