§ 91.23 LICENSE TAGS; RECORD; DISPLAY.
   (A)   The Village Clerk shall provide, each and every year, such number of metal cat or dog license tags as may be necessary (the shape and color to be changed every year), having stamped thereon the year for which the license fee is paid, the word "Orland Hills" with a sequential number on each tag. The Clerk shall keep a complete register in a book specially kept for the purpose, of all licensed dogs and cats, describing the same by name, breed, color, sex, and whether the animal has been neutered, castrated, or spayed. The register shall also show the name and address of the owner or keeper, as given, and number of the village license tag.
   (B)   Every dog and cat shall be provided by its owner or keeper with a collar made of metal, leather, or other substantial material, to which the dog or cat license tag will be securely fastened; no dog or cat shall be permitted to remain within the limits of the village unless the owner or keeper thereof shall have caused the dog or cat to be licensed as herein provided and provided with such collar and tag.
