(A) For the purpose of this schedule, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
STOP. The complete cessation from movement.
STOP SIGNS. An octagon shaped sign, red in color or in such other form or color as may be designated by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
(B) The following intersections shall be controlled by stop signs and all vehicles shall be required to stop as indicated at the following locations:

(C) The Department of Public Works is hereby directed to post and maintain such stop signs as are necessary to designate the intersections described as stop intersections.
(D) Anyone found guilty of violating any provision of this schedule shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $750.
