§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   No person shall violate the following Illinois Motor Vehicle Code sections:
      (1)   Section 11-1406 (obstruction to driver’s view or control).
      (2)   Section 11-1407 (improper opening of door into traffic).
      (3)   Section 1-1410 (coasting on downgrade).
      (4)   Section 11-1411 (following fire apparatus).
      (5)   Section 11-1419.01 (motor fuel tax I.D. Card).
      (6)   Section 12-101 (driving vehicle which is in unsafe condition or improperly equipped).
      (7)   Section 12-201 (a) (daytime lights on motorcycles).
      (8)   Section 12-201 (b), (c) (improper lighting).
      (9)   Section 12-202 (clearance, identification, and side marker lamps).
      (10)   Section 12-204 (lamp or flag on projecting load).
      (11)   Section 12-205 (failure to display the safety lights required).
      (12)   Section 12-301 (defective or no brakes).
      (13)   Section 12-401 (restrictions as to tire equipment).
      (14)   Section 12-405 (c) (use of unsafe tires).
      (15)   Section 12-502 (mirrors).
      (16)   Section 12-503 (windshields must be unobstructed and equipped with wipers).
      (17)   Section 12-601 (horns and warning devices).
      (18)   Section 12-602 (mufflers, prevention of noise or smoke).
      (19)   Section 12-603 (seat safety belts).
      (20)   Section 12-606 (tow trucks I.D.).
      (21)   Section 12-702 (certain vehicles to carry flares or other warning devices).
      (22)   Section 12-704-704.1 (improper or no placards, for example explosives, radioactive, and the like).
      (23)   Section 12-710 (splash guards and replacements).
      (24)   Section 15-104 (name and address on second division vehicles).
      (25)   Display of village vehicle license.
   (B)   Any person accused of violating any of the provisions of division (A) above may settle and compromise the claim by paying the village the sum of $50 and showing proof of correction of the violation then ten days from the time such alleged offense was committed or by paying to the municipality the sum of $100 and showing proof of the correction of the violation subsequent to the said ten-day period.
