§ 52.01 RESTRICTION ON LAWN SPRINKLING AND OTHER WATER USES.
   (A)   So as to comply with the Illinois Department of Transportations's "Rules and Regulations for allocation of Water from Lake Michigan", it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use water for the sprinkling or irrigation of lawns or gardens on any day of the week, between the dates of May 15 and September 15 of any year, except between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Provided, however, that in the event of a drought, as to be determined and declared by the Village of Oak Lawn and communicated to this village, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation with an even numbered address to use water for the sprinkling or irrigation of lawns or gardens on any day of the week, except on even numbered calendar days between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation with an odd numbered address to use water for the sprinkling or irrigation of lawns or gardens on any day of the week, except on odd numbered calendar days between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
   (B)   The Village reserves the right to further limit or suspended entirety the use of water for the sprinkling or irrigation of lawns and gardens or for any other special purpose(s) whenever the President and Board of Trustees shall determine that the police existences require such action. If public existences so require, the President may unilaterally take such action prior to the earliest opportunity available for constitution with the Board of Trustees.
   (C)   Whenever the President/President and Board of Trustees limit or suspend the use of water for the sprinkling or irrigation of lawns and gardens or for any other special purpose(s), it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use water for the sprinkling or irrigation of lawns and gardens or for any other special purpose(s) designated, other than during the times allowed for such use(s) of water, provided that said person, firm or corporation has been given notice of said limitation on, or the suspension of, the use of water, from the village, by telephone, U.S. mail or personal service or other notification.
