(A) The fees for collection and disposal of refuse shall be prescribed by the Village President and Board of Trustees from time to time. Said fees shall be assessed in a manner designed to reasonably divide the total cost of collection proportionately among all household units subject to this chapter; however, in no event shall the President and Board of Trustees be required to reassess the fees more than once in any year.
(B) All fees chargeable under this section not paid within 30 working days from the date of the invoice shall be considered delinquent.
(C) All delinquent accounts are subject to stoppage of service without notice. Service shall be resumed thereafter only upon payment of the accumulated fees plus $10.
(D) The corporate authorities may direct the issuance of a citation for any delinquent account punishable under the terms prescribed in § 50.99.
