A local disaster emergency may be declared only by the Village President as provided by "The Illinois Emergency Services and Disaster Agency Act of 1975," as amended. Said local disaster emergency shall continue only as provided by said statute. It shall be the duty of the Village ESDA to cooperate fully with the Village President in the exercise of emergency powers as provided by law during the time of a local disaster emergency.
