§ 35.068 COURT LEAVE.
A full-time employee will be given time off with pay if selected to serve on a jury when requested. The jury pay, excluding expense reimbursement, will be subtracted from the employee's regular pay to determine the amount the village will pay. Leave with pay for serving on a jury or attending court as a subpoenaed witness for or on behalf of the village may be granted, except in cases involving a criminal act by the employee, or any civil or personal case initiated by or against the employee. A paid leave of absence form must be completed to receive pay for this leave. (See Appendix E following this chapter).
