§ 35.021 SENIORITY.
   Seniority is an employee's length of continuous service since the first date of full-time employment with the village (anniversary date) or date of re- employment. If more than one person starts work on the same day, seniority will be determined by the sequence of employee number as assigned by the village. Seniority will be terminated when an employee:
   (A)   Voluntarily separates from village employment;
   (B)   Retires;
   (C)   Is laid off for a period in excess of two years or fails to report to work within five days, or fails to arrange to report to work within 14 days after notice is mailed by certified letter by the village to the last address on village records; or
   (D)   Is discharged.
