§ 35.020 PROBATIONARY PERIOD; PROMOTIONS.
   All employees receiving a promotion, or all employees moving from part-time to full-time status, must also undergo a three-month probationary period for the new position. These periods can also be extended with the approval of the department head and the Village Administrator. On or before the completion of the probationary period, the employee shall either be formally reclassified in the new position, returned to the old position, or discharged. The employee would not have the right to appeal the reclassification decision, but would have the right to appeal any discharge.
