(A)   The village accepts for employment and promotes its employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry or disability, and bases appointments and promotion on merit, experience and other qualifications applied fairly to all applicants and in accordance with the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity.
   (B)   The village shall comply with existing federal, state and local nondiscrimination guidelines as they pertain to employment with the village, and shall comply with the provisions of Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and Article 2 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
