Any license granted under this chapter may be suspended or revoked by the Village President at any time it appears that the proposed or actual operation of the raffle will be or is such as to constitute a public nuisance or to endanger the public peace, health, safety or welfare or in the event that the organization or any person acting on its behalf is in violation of the village's Code of Ordinances, state statute or federal law. Suspension or revocation shall become effective immediately. It shall be a violation for any person to operate, engage or participate in, except as a patron, any raffle which license has been suspended or revoked.
