307.10 FEES FOR POLICE-ORDERED TOWS BY CLASS A LICENSEES.
   The maximum fee which may be charged by any licensee hereunder for removing a vehicle in response to a police call shall be as follows:
   (a)    For a tow of any passenger car, motorcycle, stake, panel or dump truck, loaded or empty up to an including one-half ton, the charge shall be one hundred sixty dollars ($160.00);
      (1)    The charge for the use of fluid/oil absorbent shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00);
   (b)    For a tow of any passenger car, stake, panel or dump truck:
      (1)    Loaded or empty, up to and including one-half ton when hooked together by a tow bar. one hundred sixty dollars (S160.00);
      (2)    Loaded or empty, up to and including one-half ton coupled to utility trailer, one hundred sixty dollars ($160.00);
      (3)    Passenger car, stake, panel or dump truck and tractor coupled to a house trailer, one hundred sixty dollars ($160.00);
      (4)    After-hour release: The release fee after 5:00 p.m. shall be forty-five dollars ($45.00);
      (5)    The charge for the use of fluid/oil absorbent shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00);
   (c)    Trucks:
      (1)    Removal of trucks, trailers or house trailers:
 
         A.    Single unit (empty) $160.00
         B.    Single unit,¾ ton or 1-1 /2 ton (loaded)       $190.00
         C.    Two tons and over (empty)             $190.00
         D.    Less than 20,000 pounds, gross (loaded)       $215.00
         E.    Two units (empty)                $215.00
      (2)    Removal of trucks and trailers or semi, coupled       $290.00
      (3)    Removal of trucks and trailers or semi, not coupled    $365.00
      (4)    Tractor, semi-trailer and/or second trailer          $440.00
   (d)    Upon approval of the Division of Police, services other than routine hooking up when necessary to prepare vehicle for tow, additional tow vehicle and one man for under four tons, ninety-five dollars ($95.00) per hour: additional heavy-duty tow vehicle and one man for over four tons, one-hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) per hour.
   (e)    Delay occurring when licensee is ready and prepared to tow, caused by circumstances beyond the control of the licensee, two vehicle and one man for under four tons per hour, ninety-five dollars ($95.00); heavy-duty tow vehicle and one man per hour, one-hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00). Delay time shall not begin prior to thirty-five minutes after being called by the Police Division.
   (f)    Additional cost incurred by contracting for other equipment or services not required by this chapter shall be passed on to the owner of such vehicle or truck with no additional profit seen by the licensee contracting such equipment or service.
   (g)    An itemized statement is to be furnished to the owner when a vehicle is returned and one copy will be retained for periodic police inspection.
