307.04 INSPECTION; ISSUANCE OF CLASS A LICENSE.
   Upon receipt of the aforesaid application or reapplications, certificate of/or insurance policy, and the license fee, the Mayor shall notify the Chief of Police who shall cause an inspection to be made of the premises, fixtures and equipment of the applicant. Should the same comply with the provisions of this chapter and with any further reasonable rules of the Mayor or the Chief of Police, the Mayor or Chief of Police shall approve the application and shall issue to the applicant a Class A license, and as evidence thereof shall issue a decal bearing an assigned tow truck license number, which shall be permanently affixed to the lower left hand corner of the windshield of each tow truck. The Chief of Police shall cause the name of the applicant to be entered upon the approved waiting list of the Department of Public Safety. The Mayor or Chief of Police shall as he deems necessary and after the applicant has complied with the sections of this chapter pertaining to Class A licenses, move the applicant to the police roster of licensed towing agencies of the Division of Police.
