969.01 CLEAN-UP DEPOSIT.
   The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to collect a security deposit and directed to bill organizations who use public buildings owned by the City for custodial service when such buildings are not left in the same condition they were in prior to use by the organizations. The charge shall be based on supplies used and the hourly rate plus overhead paid to the custodians. Payment so received shall be accounted for in the General Fund.
   The Director is authorized to notify organizations immediately after such organizations have used public buildings owned by the City that they were left in an unclean condition and that he would have the buildings cleaned and charge the organizations for this service in accordance with this section. Should any organization, upon receiving such notice, either by telephone or in writing, fail to make arrangements to clean the building in question, the Director is authorized to take immediate steps to have the building cleaned.
