(a) No body interred in the cemetery shall be removed from the cemetery until a permit has been deposited in the office of the Superintendent. Such permit shall be in accordance with law. A body may be disinterred from one part of the cemetery and reinterred in another part of the cemetery. Permission of the owner of the lot or grave space in which reinterment is to take place is required as though it were a first interment.
(See Section 967.07.)
(b) If a body is disinterred from a single space, not part of a lot, the rights of the owner of the vacated space may be terminated by the City upon payment by the City of the purchase price received by the City for such space.
(c) No disinterment or subsequent reinterment shall be permitted until the person requesting such action has filed with the City, upon a form provided by the-City, an assumption of liability for damages which the City may sustain by reason of such disinterment or reinterment, and in addition thereto, if required by the City, a surety bond satisfactory to the City, in such amount as the City determines.
(d) Disinterment and reinterment are subject to the payment in advance of scheduled fees.
