Should the owner of any such land fail to comply with such notice, the Commissioner of Building and Zoning shall direct the Street Department to cut such weeds, grasses and vegetation. The charges shall be computed to recover all city expenses including labor, equipment, overhead and notification with a minimum charge of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) per parcel cut. The Assessment Supervisor shall then accordingly bill the owner or person having charge of the lands. In the event of the failure to pay by any person charged with payment for the cutting of weeds, grasses, or vegetation, upon direction by Council, the Finance Director shall certify to the County Auditor assessments to be collected as provided by law in the case of other assessments levied by Council.
