737.02 PERMIT REQUIRED.

Except as provided in Section 737.29, no person shall operate or permit a taxicab owned or controlled by him to be operated as a vehicle for hire upon the streets of the City without having first obtained a permit from the Mayor or his designee pursuant to this chapter.
