525.16 USE OF VEHICLE TO AVOID APPREHENSION.

(a) No person shall use an automobile or any other vehicle to transport himself or another with intent to avoid apprehension, custody, prosecution or confinement for the commission of a felony or misdemeanor.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
