371.14 MISUSE OF PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTON SIGNALS.
   (a)    No person shall actuate any pedestrian push button traffic signal except for the express purpose of immediately thereafter crossing the street upon which traffic has been halted by such signal.
   (b)    No person or persons shall actuate any pedestrian push button traffic signal for the purpose of crossing or recrossing the street upon which traffic is halted by such signal with intent to impede or interfere with the normal flow of traffic at such crossing.

   (c)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
