§ 32.016 EMPLOYEE REMOVAL.
   Any employee of the village whether appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Board of Trustees or hired by motion of the Board of Trustees or by a department supervisor or head are considered to be “at will” and their employment may be terminated without cause at any time. This provision does not apply to any employee who has a valid written employment contract with the village. All employees whether “at will” or under written contract shall have the right to demand a termination hearing before the Board of Trustees and to have an attorney present or some other spokesperson, to examine any witnesses and present any evidence relevant to the proceedings.
