§ 71.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   Any vehicle parked in violation of § 71.49 of this chapter in a posted designated disabled space which does not bear a state disabled registration plate or a valid disabled parking permit issued by another governmental agency of a village disabled registration card will be ticketed and the vehicle will be removed in accordance with departmental policies and in accordance with 625 ILCS 5/11-1302. The registered owner of the vehicle as ascertained by the registration plates of the vehicle will be presumed to be in control of the vehicle and will be fined $100. If the disabled space is posted, then the penalty shall be $200. The same registered owner will be held liable for the cost of removal of the vehicle and must pay that cost, plus storage charges, if any, prior to the release of the vehicle.
