§ 52.114 WATER TAP-ON FEES.
   (A)   Inside village. Applicants for water service inside the village shall pay a charge of $2,500, plus the actual cost of the meter, vaults and fittings. Tapping of the main shall only be performed by the village or its contractor after the tapping fee has been received by the village.
   (B)   Outside village. Applicants for water service outside the village limits shall pay the same fees as stated in division (A) above.
   (C)   Illinois Plumbing Code. All water tap and service connections made to the mains of the waterworks system of the village shall conform to the regulations of this chapter and of the state’s Plumbing Code. All connections and installations shall be made by the village’s Water and Sewer Department.
   (D)   Maintenance of water lines. The village shall replace all water mains when it has been deemed necessary to do so in order to maintain service in the village. The village shall limit its responsibility to maintaining water lines to the water mains and to the service lines up to the meter. The property owner shall be responsible for the service line from the meter into the premises served.
