1325.02 PERMIT APPLICATIONS.
   (a)   An application for a permit for the erection, construction, or alteration of any building or other structure, or any part thereof, shall be made in writing to the Building Commissioner by the owner or his or her agent on forms furnished by the Building Commissioner. Such application shall be accompanied by detailed and professional plans and drawings of such building or other structure, or part thereof, with the size of beams and joists marked thereon, drawn to scale, including such floor plans, sections, elevations, and structural details as the Building Commissioner requires. All plans for structures governed by the Residential Code of Ohio or the Ohio Building Code, all plans for new residential dwellings, and all plans for alterations and additions to residential dwellings which significantly affect the structural integrity of the dwelling shall be prepared by a professional architect or engineer registered to provide such design services in the State of Ohio, who shall affix his or her seal to the drawings in accordance with Ohio law, prior to the submission of the plans to the Village Building Department.
   (b)   Such application, when made for the purpose of erecting a dwelling house, shall also be accompanied by a plat diagram showing elevations, contours and other necessary data concerned with the elevations of the street and existing road ditches and drainage structures so as to enable the Building Commissioner, from an examination of such plat diagram, to determine whether or not a septic tank or other sewage disposal system will function properly. Such plat diagram shall, in all cases, show the exact location on the lot or plot of land of all proposed new construction, its relation to other existing or proposed structures on the same lot and such other information as the Building Commissioner may require in order to determine whether or not the proposed structure complies with the Zoning Code or other applicable ordinances.
   (c)   In addition to the requirements set forth in subsections (a) and (b) hereof, the applications pertaining to the following uses shall contain the following information:
      (1)   Commercial.
         A.   The general floor plan of each floor;
         B.   The main disconnection location of electrical service;
         C.   The main shut-off location of the sprinkler system;
         D.   The standpipe location;
         E.   The gas shut-off location;
         F.   Stairways, fire escapes and evacuation routes;
         G.   The pull box locations of fire alarms; and
         H.   Any hazardous material storage location.
      (2)   Gas stations.
         A.   The general plot and building plans;
         B.   The main disconnection location of electrical service;
         C.   The shut-off locations of gas mains;
         D.   The storage tank location; and
         E.   Any hazardous material storage location.
      (3)   Light industrial.
         A.   The general floor plan;
         B.   The main disconnection location of electrical service;
         C.   The main disconnection locations of gas mains;
         D.   The gas or other hazardous liquid shut-off location;
         E.   The main shut-off and standpipe locations for sprinkler systems;
         F.   The pull box location of fire alarms;
         G.   Any hazardous material storage location; and
         H.   The types of hazardous materials involved.
