The Building Commissioner shall keep suitable records on file in the Village Hall. The records shall indicate the location and character of every building, other structure or other work for which a certificate or permit is issued, together with a copy of every report of inspection made, so arranged that the full history of the various inspections of each building, other structure or other work appears in consecutive order, and including the dates upon which inspections were made. All original notes or records made by the Building Commissioner shall be signed and properly filed for permanent record.
