1321.05 ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENTAL MEMBERS.

   (a)   In addition to the Building Commissioner (Class I inspector) and the Village Architect, there are hereby created the following positions:

      (1)   Plans Examiner (Class II officer)

      (2)   Alternate Plans Examiner (Class II officer)

      (3)   Building Department Engineer

      (4)   Alternate Building Department Engineer

      (5)   Alternate Building Inspector (Class I inspector)

      (6)   Plumbing Inspector and Class III Inspector

      (7)   Alternate Plumbing Inspector and Class III Inspector

      (8)   Electrical Inspector and Class III Inspector

      (9)   Alternate Electrical Inspector and Class III Inspector

      (10)   Housing/Zoning Inspector.

   (b)   The officers created by this section shall be appointed by the Mayor and their terms of office shall run concurrently with the Mayor’s term of office. Such officers shall be confirmed by Council as provided in Article V Section 1 of the Orange Village Charter.
