Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provision of this chapter, or whose residence or business has been equipped with an emergency alarm system without obtaining a permit therefor as required by this chapter, shall be deemed guilty of a minor misdemeanor and fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor less than fifty dollars ($50.00). Each day of violation shall be deemed a separate offense.
