For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings:
(a) "COUNCIL CHAMBER" means the room where Council holds its regular meetings at Village Hall.
(b) "DUBYAK DIAMOND" means the baseball diamond located to the south of White Drive, north of Hazlett Field.
(c) "HAZLETT FIELD" means the baseball diamond located north of Pike Drive, south of Dubyak Diamond.
(d) "KATHY URDANG MULCAHY PAVILION" means the pavilion north of White Drive east of the playground equipment.
(e) "MUNICIPAL FACILITY" means the Park, Pike Drive Pavilion, Dubyak Diamond, Hazlett Field, Kathy Urdang Mulcahy Pavilion, Soccer Field, Singer Pavilion, Wooddell Room, Council Chamber, Tot Sledding Hill, any other rooms, parks, or facilities owned by the Village which are designated by the Service Director as available to Village residents or employees for recreational or other not for profit uses.
(f) "OFFICIAL VILLAGE PERMIT" means the permit issued by the Service Director, authorizing a Village resident or employee to reserve a Municipal Facility or a portion thereof. All Official Village Permits shall be issued on a first-come basis and in accordance with rules and regulations adopted by the Service Director.
(g) "PARK" means the Orange Village Community Park, the main entrance to which is located on Lander Road, Orange Village, Ohio.
(h) "PERSON" means any person, firm, partnership, association, or corporation.
(i) "PIKE DRIVE PAVILION" means the pavilion located north of Pike Drive and west of Hazlett Field.
(j) "SERVICE DIRECTOR" means the Service Director of Orange Village or the Service Director's designee.
(k) "SERVICE FOREMAN" means the Service Foreman of Orange Village.
(l) "SINGER PAVILION" means the pavilion between White Drive and Emery Road, north of White Drive.
(m) "SOCCER FIELD" means the soccer field south of Emery Road, to the east of the Tot Sledding Hill.
(n) "TOT SLEDDING HILL" means the hill on the west side of the Park, south of Emery Road and west of the Soccer Field.
(o) "VEHICLE" means any wheeled conveyance whether motor powered, animal drawn or self-propelled. This term includes any trailer of any size, kind or description.
(p) "VILLAGE" means Orange Village.
(q) "WOODDELL ROOM" means the room located inside Village Hall, south of the entry foyer. (Ord. 2024-1. Passed 1-3-24.)
